The port of Saint-Quay… one could spend hours contemplating this wonderful place. I painted this piece quite early in the morning, during a major low tide.
The beautiful Gedelins Beach—vast and golden—is a dreamlike place for long walks and summer relaxation. I love painting it in spring, before the tourists arrive, when an extraordinary calm settles over the landscape.
Harbour Island... it's one of my favorite subjects. I can see it from my balcony. That little house used to be a lighthouse—it's no longer in operation.
This painting captures the joyful spirit of Plage de la Comtesse in Brittany. The first golden days of spring whisper of summer’s approach—of holidays, laughter in the sand, and carefree moments by the sea.
I painted this piece on a winter morning. I adore these winter tones... the sea turns almost turquoise, creating a beautiful contrast with the steel-grey sky.
Oh, what wondrous moments, steeped in the fragrance of roses. As I painted, it felt as though the flowers' sweet perfume seeped into the canvas — and into my very soul.
Acrylic on canvas. Painting made in strange circumstances. A year earlier, I was asked to do a painting to order. It was a very large triptych "Wild medicinal plants in Brittany".
My garden takes on extraordinary colors... I painted this scene in the late afternoon, when the shrubs in the background turn a deep blue and create a perfect harmony of colors with the beautiful agapanthus
Acrylic on canvas. The painting is inspired by my friends garden. This white fountain has always caught my attention. I find this place incredible, almost like a fairy tale.
