The Port in Saint-Quay... a subject that invites endless reinterpretation. The light and colors are ever-changing, giving this place its unique charm. I painted this piece in the evening, on the beach near the fishing boats, which allowed me to capture the port from a different perspective.
This painting depicts the port in Saint-Quay. I painted it in the morning, when the sea was very high and unusually calm. The boats swayed gently, their reflections clearly visible on the water’s surface.
This is one of my favorite places in Saint-Quay — a scene I could gaze at for hours. I’ve painted it many times, yet each time it feels different. The light, the colors — they shift from minute to minute.
This is a small sketch painted on the Comtesse beach in Saint-Quay. On this vast stretch of sand, there is a small seawater pool that forms during low tide. As the sea recedes, a shallow body of water remains — much to the delight of children.

Binic is a picturesque port in Brittany. I painted this picture in the spring. It depicts a view of the town, but in the foreground—right next to the beautiful reflection of the architecture and the church in the water—numerous yachts proudly stand.
