I really like to come back to this place. I have painted this chapel many times, from the front, from the side, in the morning, at noon, in the evening, on sunny or cloudy days. This time, the composition is completely different. There is a weeping willow in the foreground and the chapel appears in the background.
Saint-Marc chapel in Tréveneuc. Historic site and monument. Located in the cove of the same name, this chapel was completely rebuilt around 1715, then modified in 1781 and 1786 with the opening of three side windows and the sealing of that of the high altar. The building has a very simple structure: the transept is separated from the nave by a diaphragm arch supporting a steeple. Inside: the 18th century altarpiece.
