The Port in Saint-Quay... a subject that invites endless reinterpretation. The light and colors are ever-changing, giving this place its unique charm. I painted this piece in the evening, on the beach near the fishing boats, which allowed me to capture the port from a different perspective. The colors are vivid and intense… warm rays of sunlight gently embrace the landscape and the boats. The sea has receded, leaving behind shallow puddles where the blue sky and parts of the boats reflect beautifully. A magical afternoon in Brittany.
