The fantastical pink granite formations—shaped by wind and sea into wonders like the Dice, the Stack of Crêpes, and the Witch—rise like sculptures along the shore. At low tide, hidden islets reveal themselves, weaving a dreamlike landscape across the beautiful beach of Coz-Pors. I painted this piece in the quiet of the afternoon, after a magical walk along the shore. I found my place among the rocks, bathed in the warm light of the sun. At that hour, they glowed with a soft, enchanting pink — a color only nature could create. It’s no wonder this region is called the “Pink Granite Coast,” a name as poetic as the landscape itself.
